Trailcast ("the App") is developed by Simon Außerlechner / LemmiDevPixelCraft. We take your privacy seriously. This policy describes how the App handles your data.
Trailcast does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All workout data stays on your device.
The App reads workout data from Apple Health (HealthKit) with your explicit permission. This data is used solely to display your workouts, generate statistics, and export files. HealthKit data is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or transmitted off your device.
The App uses Apple WeatherKit to display weather conditions for your workouts and provide training forecasts. Weather requests are sent directly to Apple's servers using your device's approximate location. No location data is stored or shared by the App.
GPS route data from your workouts is processed locally on your device for map display, route export, and location-based search indexing. Location data is never transmitted to external servers.
Trailcast Pro subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled by Apple and is not accessible to the developer. See Apple's Standard EULA for subscription terms.
The App does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No ads are displayed.
When you export a workout (GPX, CSV, TCX) or share a card, the exported file is created locally on your device. You control where and how it is shared.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
